A note from Coach Keegan:

"I can't say anything other than the 9B boys did Braintree National Youth Baseball proud...Our playoff run started with a 12-11 come from behind win over Milton National...On (the next day), we played Braintree American at Hollingsworth and got an amazing 17-3 win to make it to the Championship game...(For the finals), we were the home team and played Scituate in the Championship game in Whitman.  Coaches and parents from both sides were treated to a true back and forth battle between the Braintree and Scituate boys.  In the bottom of the sixth, with 1 out and Braintree National down by one run, Shane Wright hit a two run walk off homer to get Braintree the 7-6 victory...All of the boys from Braintree played absolutely amazing ball all three days (and the entire second half of the season) and it was a true team effort with everyone contributing!"
